Cutting: 2 square edged boards 70 mm and wider, 700mm and longer
Dryness: Air dried
Other names: Kayu malam, Amara
Variegated black with light brown stripes. Hard, heavy and fine textured. Very similar to Macassar Ebony with the delineation of the stripe figure being slightly less well defined.
A match for the Amara or Asian ebony veneer that is now being sold as, or alongside genuine Macassar ebony veneer.
